Hi,
I was under the impression from reading multiple sources , that ftp
passive mode was when the client connects to a waiting server process on
tcp 21 on a given server , and normal or active mode was a port
negotiation process ? This task in lab 2 9.11-9.14 states that pasv ftp
is not used , does this refer to Passive mode ftp ? In this case the
server would be listening for connections on tcp 20 , 21 so you ACL can
be a static limited number of ports , but yet solution indicates that it
is passive ?? Anyone know if this is misinterpretation or typo ??
TIA , Long
