Gary,
PIM NMBA mode only works for multicast groups running in sparse
mode. The interface can be configured as sparse-dense but only sparse
mode groups will take advantage of the "ip pim nbma-mode" command.

As a side note, the AutoRP traffic still runs in dense mode even
when the "ip pim autorp listener" and "ip pim sparse-mode" commands are
used.

Subject: ip pim nbma-mode

From the CISCO doc said that the "ip pim nbma-mode" work only for ip pim
sparse-mode. Is it true?

If true, will there be a problem in AutoRP with "ip pim
sparse-dense-mode" with "ip pim nbma-mode"?

If there will be problem, can it be solved by AutoRP with "ip pim
sparse-mode" with "ip pim autorp listener" with "ip pim nbma-mode"?

Gary
