Subject: no domain-lookup on console and vty lines
I have tried numerous combinations of "no domain-lookup" on vty and
console ports of routers that our connected to a 2511rj terminal server
, when connecting to these routers , through there console ports and
adding "no domain-lookup" under the console and vty lines then logging
out , they still give that irritating lag trying to resolve the typo to
domain name ??? Say you have a situation in which you require to have ip
domain-lookup on globally say due to ntp server hostname resolution ,
but you don't want it to resolve typos on the cli , has anyone used this
line config mode domain-lookup feature ? Maybe that's what its not for
??
TIA , Long
