Long,

I'm pretty sure (99%) there is no difference.

Deprecated syntax or commands might show up for a while in IOS before being
removed.

Subject: Difference within the MQC framework of set dscp and set ip dscp

In this cco doc it states that as of 12.2(14)T some policy-map commands
were modified some of them being the following:

Old command = set ip prec / new command = set prec

Old command = set ip dscp / new command = set dscp

These are all subcommands underneath the policy-map structure , I have
used both of them and see know difference between the two commands , and
find it perplexing as why cisco would document a change of a given
command but still include the deprecated syntax ??? Anyone seen this ??
This is on a 3640 platform with the following code System image file is
"flash:c3640-jk9o3s-mz.123-11.T3.bin" ..

TIA , Long
