Hi,

I think there are 2 points you should keep in mind as you prepare for the
ipv6 portion of the lab.

- Not everything documented in the ipv6 library can be run with the current
version of IOS used in the lab. That means that ipv6 mcast for example will
not be on the lab.

- Although the potential scope is huge, the reality is ipv6 coverage in the
lab replaces voice over ip. Therefore, you can expect the amount of ipv6 in
the lab in terms of points to be the same as were previously allocated to
voip. And, just as before even when voip was fair game, not every lab
included voip, I suspect the same is true today - not every lab includes
ipv6 - but, of course, you never know so you should be prepared.

HTH, Tim

Subject: IPv6 Scope in Lab

On the CCIE lab blueprint IPv6 is listed under IGP and BGP only.
just want to ping everyone to see how much this limits the IPv6 scope since
I have seen lot of questions on Ipv6 NAT and tunneling ad other features in
this list....
