Hi,

I've a question about dot1x on a cat 3550

All the examples I see are always using the default dot1x authentication group:

aaa authentication dot1x default group radius
int fas x/x
dot1x port-con auto

Is it also possible to use a non-default name on a cat3550, or is only
the default group assigned to the fastethernet interfaces? This way it
won't be applied to all lines automatically I think and you're not
locking yourself out.

aaa authentication dot1x ccielab group radius
int fas x/x
dot1x port-con auto

rgds,
