Hi,
I have question regarding booting the default IOS via TFTP. The router
R3 needs to boot his IOS from R4.
R3 --- fastethernet--- R4
R3
======
rommon 5 > confreg
Configuration Summary
enabled are:
load rom after netboot fails
console baud: 9600
boot: image specified by the boot system commands
or default to: cisco2-C3600
config register set to : 0x2102
R4
======
Rack1R4(config)#do sh run | incl tftp
tftp-server flash:c3640-jk9o3s-mz.122-15.T8.bin alias cisco2-C3600
Rack1R4#dir flash:
Directory of flash:/
1 -rw- 20162672 <no date> c3640-jk9o3s-mz.122-15.T8.bin
33030144 bytes total (12867408 bytes free)
Rack1R4#
When I reset router3 it is not attempting to load an IOS via TFTP.
I've sniffed the connection between both routers and R3 is not even
sending DHCP or BOOTP requests to obtain IP info. Can any body tell me
what is going wrong here.
you're feedback is highly appreciated,
bvk
