Are you able to get it up such that you can provide a sh ver so we can see
the memory/flash details? Perhaps load an 8MB required image and then
provide the sh ver. Also provide the output from show flash all

This may help to narrow down the problem. As a guess it sounds like you
have either bad code or a bad flash chip. If an IOS loads that only requires
8mb then you could be running into a bad flash chip that provides the other
8mb of space. With the 3620 you can also install a 12MB or 16MB flash card
in the pcmcia slot and boot your IOS from that. And you can also load a
backup smaller 8mb IOS on the main flash.

Ian

Transfer a binary format file.

That will be compatible.

Subject: OT: IOS loading problem

Hi guys,

Sorry for the OT.

I am having problem loading an IOS image on my 3620 (the error message is
below). My flash memory is 16mb so it is enough for this image also the RAM
memory is fine. I did try different images thinking it might be a bug.

Also to mention that I can load any image less than 8MB.

Thanks in advance,

Artir Geci
