CISCO AUX to Linux serial connectivity for PPP

Hi All,

This is out of topic but I am trying to free up an Ethernet port on a LAB
router - 2600.

Has anybody done a PPP connectivity between a CISCO AUX port & a serial
port (COMX) of a Linux box?

I have verified that the cabling is correct as I can reverse telnet to port
2065 and get the Linux login prompt.
Now I need to setup a PPP session so that I can get a IP connectivity and
then I can use the router's LAN interface for other purposes.

On CISCO site, they have given a sample setup/configs for Windows (on below
link) and I need to find a similar setup/config for a Linux box.

If anybody has done this, can you please let me know the router config & the
config steps on the Linux box.

Thanks

Mathew
