RE: [ERR] Traffic shaping #2-- FRTS vs Policy-map shaping

While reading through previous posts in my E-Mail, I noticed this
one.

While I agree with Bob, I would like to qualify something Bob has
mentioned. The shape adaptive command will only throttle down the rate to
the average rate after receiving BECN messages, not FECNs. FECNs could be
used to set BECNs though (as follows):

If the receiver of the traffic receives FECNs, the FECNS can be sent
back to the source using a Q.922 test frame that marks the BECN bit in the
frame-relay header so the source of the initial traffic using the shape
fecn-adapt command in the MQC.

Sincerely,
Dennis Hartmann

Jongsoo,

Have you noted the command -shape adaptive- is available in a policy-map?
Seems you can use MQC for adaptive shaping using BECN and FECN. Here is a

  It seems like

  frame-relay adaptive-shaping becn + frame-relay mincir = shape adaptive
