Hi group!
I have a little real problem with bgp.
I have the main link adn backup. Sometimes main link up/down:
%LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface POS0/0, changed state to down
%LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface POS0/0, changed state to up
%LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface POS0/0, changed state to down
%LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface POS0/0, changed state to up
%LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface POS0/0, changed state to down
%LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface POS0/0, changed state to up
And bgp routes are changed from main link to backup and back.
That is the best practice to use BGP DAMPENING?
Is the default parameters(15 750 2000 60) conformed with real life?
What are the best parameters?
