Hey Scott

I agree fe80::1 for all interfaces for R1 and fe80::2 for all
interfaces for R2 and so on.
Good thing about link-local address, we can have duplicate addresses.

Anyway, the real reason I relied your email is in my work, there is a
guy who can memorize MAC address and IP address of most my company
network devices.
And "he always likes to stay in a dark"... I am not kidding... ^ ^
