You need a router that supports a hardware clock. Look for the
'calendar' feature. It used to be 7000 and above (possibly the 4700
too). I'm not sure if the new 28xx/38xx have it.

Subject: How to permanently set clock on IOS
I tried to change the clock on the router, but after reboot it always
went back to the default time in 1993. Is there a way to change and
save it? like change in the boot mode?
thanks,
Michael?
