Yes, the trick is using the frame-relay interface-type nni on the interfaces
linking the frame switches together. I have a 7010 as my main frame switch
and two 1601's acting as intermediate frame switches between a 2620 and 3640
router. In my case it had to do with the fact that the 2620 and 3640 had
WIC1-DSU-T1 cards and the 7010 had the DB-60 connectors. The 1601's had
both so it worked pretty well....
