The NM-4T module is not supported on the 2600 platform as per Cisco.

You may have been thinking of the NM-4A/S module.

Yes, this is correct. On the other way, there was a NM-4T module,
with four DB-60 serial connectors, which would leave You with two
spare WIC slots.
