I would recommend to make your all drawn within a limited time. For example, how much information could you put on your drawn within 10 minutes.
As the time pass very fast on the day, it would be helpful to drawn fast.
On the other side, a correct drawn can save you from making mistakes or see hidden issues.
There was a post where a guy that passed the lab choose not doing his own drawn.
That is personal and you have to decide if the time you spent drawning usually helps or not.
I always made a drawn during DOiT scenarios.
On the last CHECKiT, I decided to use the time for other task. The interesting was that I got a better score that time.
One problem of drawing is that you must be sure you do not write wrong information and use this information on future tasks during the lab.
And I mean mistakes that we would not do normally, but under the test stress they occur.
Sorry to answer like that, sounds like sending back the question, but the true is that "you have to decide what works for you."
