Hello Everyone,
Between PCs, I like NetPerSec. I used to do a lot of benchmarks and
comparisons solutions and products and appreciated the simplicity of this
application.
Here is a link that discusses this app as well as offers a download:

If you are concerned with how much traffic an application uses, and the QOS
it will get as it moves through your network, then I would point you to a
new feature called Corvil bandwidth. It will provide what you are asking on
a per hop basis and can provide feedback on your QOS.
Here is a good link for this feature (watch the ugly word wrap):
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk543/tk759/tech_brief0900aecd8024d5ff.html
A search on Cisco's website will show additional links to you as well. Feel
free to call me directly, or email me 'offline' for more information.
Kindest Regards all,
Andrew Lee Lissitz

Subject: measuring a particular class of traffic
Hi All,
I'm trying to measure the rate of a particular traffic (let's FTP for
example) flowing between PCs connected to the same catalyst (2950 in my
case).
Anyone has an idea of how would that be possible?
In addition, I'd like to be able to measure how much FTP is a
particular source sending out the switch.
Regards,
JP
