My suggestion regarding loopbacks is this:
On the scrap paper cisco gives you, make a list of all the loopbacks:
As you go through the lab, write down which IGP and area if applicable or AS
each loopback is advertised into.
Before leaving the IGP portion of the lab, check that each loopback has been
handled appropriately.
As far as which ospf area to advertise the loopback into, if they don't
explicitly tell you, look for implicit instructions such as what type of
routes should be seen in the route table of rtr-X.
If all they say is "appropriate" area and there aren't any other explicit or
implicit instructions, then it won't matter from a grading point of view.
HTH, Tim

Subject: Advertise Loopback
Once I read an article about the common question "advertise the loopback on
the appropriate ospf area".
I could not find the reference on my notes.
Any advice?
