Position: Senior Cisco Network or Security Design/Implementation/Support
Consultant

Location: Chertsey, Surrey
A fantastic opportunity exists to join a rapidly growing UK-based Services
organisation, to provide pre and post sales Cisco LAN and Security technical
design, implementation and support consultancy. The role, working closely
with external Customers throughout the UK , Internal Account Management and
Service Delivery teams, demands the highest level of technical ability,
depth of experience and quality output.
The successful candidate will need to exhibit exceptional skills in the
following key areas:
7 Organisation: Must be self motivated, able to
prioritise own workload and take ownership.
7 Team Player: Must equally work well within and
be an active part of a team as being able to work alone.
7 Communication: Must have excellent interpersonal
and communicative (written and verbal) skills.
7 Flexibility: Must be prepared to travel at
short notice to customer locations throughout the UK.
7 Technical Must be CCIE Routing/Switching
and/or Security accredited (both written and Labs)
7 Adapt technical Ability to translate customer
requirements to appropriate technologies - not just the latest.

data network consultancy to the mobile, telecommunications and enterprise

the largest equipment manufacturers and a rapidly growing customer base it

The role requires an enthusiastic, hardworking individual who is passionate
about providing excellent customer service and forming an integral part of

KEY TASKS
7 Customer: Attend pre/post customer meetings as technical
representative; prepare designs and other technical material for
Quotes/Proposals, present ideas for customer approval. Manage customer side
implementations.
7 Support: Form part of 3net's 24x7 customer support.
7 Mentoring: Prepare and provide training sessions for internal
staff to assist raising their skills.
7 Process Improvement: Assisting the improvement of existing and
the introduction of new process and procedures as part of 3net's drive to
World Class service excellence.
REQUIRED SKILL BASE
7 Minimum 5 years in-depth experience as a consultant delivering
services to external customers.
7 CCIE Routing and Switching or Security accredited.
7 Accreditations/experience within Cisco Content Switching, Cisco
Wireless and/or other vendor products e.g. Alteon, Nortel, Nortel Wireless,
Checkpoint, Crossbeam, Netscreen, Network Management and UNIX a distinct
advantage.
7 ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) experience and/or accreditations
also a distinct advantage
7 Conversant with MS software products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Visio and Project.
7 Full driving licence.
