John,

That worked !!! Yeah

But, what a pain getting there.

Which is too bad - at least for me - since I've found those Tech Notes to
have some of best configuration examples.

I recall a while back it was easy finding Tech Tips/Notes. They were
organized by technology within technology.

For example, if you looked under support, you'd find WAN. Then under WAN,
you'd find things like ppp, Frame Relay, ATM, etc. Then under each
individual technology, you'd find a long listing of Tech Notes and/or Tips.
You remember that?

Oh, well, things change.

Thanks, Tim

Ok...

www.cisco.com
-click on Technical Support in the Technical Support drop down
-click on the Technology Support link
-click on the IP link
-click on the SNMP link
-click on View all Documents
-click on 'How to Configure RMON Alarm and Event Settings Using SNMP
Commands'
*note* This is the -new- page for this but if you scroll all the way to
the bottom....
-under 'Related Information'.... click on 'Configuring RMON Alarm and
Event Settings from the Command Line'

easy! ;)

If you just remember that, in Cisco-eze things like RMON, DNS, DHCP,
HSRP, NTP, etc., are all 'ip services' it helps... at least it does for
me.
