Hi Brian and group
Technical support websites and forums are very good and useful. But many times I have been frustrated to face real life issues ( at work only, my private life is great !). These issues are either too off topic for this forum or related to product/platform comparison and in this case u cant really approach vendors as they would each sell their pros. What is needed is a forum for professional to share problems, debate test results and design considerations. I use the technical forum on cisco.com...it is good but still limited.
Besides, there are other vendors than Cisco. These platform interoperate with Cisco. As you know, there are differences between what documentation CD says and real bugged life do.
A real life issues forum open to all platforms and topics would be a fantastic learning tool and very very popular.
I guess I am asking you to help us all out and create this forum where we can all share our professional experiences and indeed develop.
TIA
Sam
