Hello,
I have this setup.
Campus A with (2) 6513 Switch Router Connecs to Main Campus at (2) 6509 WAN
routers.
6513A connects to 6509 A via 100MB Copper Link on COX ATM Backbone.
6513B connects to 6509 B via 100MB Copper Link on COX Sonet Backbone.
My connection is layer III with OPSF routing protocol.
6513s connect to IDF switches and am also doing VLAN load balancing with
HSRP.
It means some IDFs traffic goes through ATM backbone, and other goes through
Sonet backbone depends which backbone 6513 switch is primary backbone for
which VLAN.
We are running Cisco AVVID as a single cluster. Main campus has publisher,
subscribers, and music on hold servers, but Campus A has its own subscribers
that support IP phone users.
I have done the basic auto qos on all the switches, and configured manual
cos-dscp mappings on uplinks between campuses, with "mls qos trust dscp"
When an IP phone at campus A calls an IP phone at campus B, the RXLost
doesn't stop incrementing. There is no jitter in voice quality, but sooner
or later, I believe it will happen.
Can someone shed some lights, and any feedback will be appreciated.
Regards,
