Simon,
I think you read my post too quickly.
Yes, the mac address is converted in lab 17.
But, the mac address is lab 10 is NOT converted.
But, I think the mac address in lab 10 should also be converted because the
scenario in lab 10 is essentially the same as in lab 17. And, it seems to me
that the solution for lab 10 can't be correct if the solution for lab 17 IS
correct.
One of them must be wrong or I don't understand what's going on.
What do you think?
Tim

Look again at the solution and question on Lab 17, I think you will find
that the MAC is converted.
00-09-6b-06-47-ed
is converted to

Subject: mac conversion in IE lab 10 and lab 17
Hi guys,
In the dlsw sections of lab 10 and lab 17, the mac address is not converted
in lab 10 but it is in lab 17.
To me, it seems like the mac address should be converted in both labs or not
converted in either lab as the scenarios are very similar.
If the solution is correct in both labs, can someone explain why conversion
is not needed in lab 10 but it is in lab 17.
TIA, Tim
