Subject: layer 2 STP and Layer 3 forward problem

Hi: Group
I have a problem about Layer 2 STP and Layer 3 Forward.

     Core Switch1(Cisco 6500) ----- Core Switch2(Cisco 6500)
               | |
               | line1 | line 2
               | |
           server ----- ------------------

Server Teaming----(port trunk two NIC to a IP address)

Core Switch 2 is standby status.
When Core Switch 1 is down---- Core Switch 2 can take over primary
switch task.

When Server cable connected Core Switch 1 is break, Core Switch 2 is
standby status,
From trafifce flow, I'm not sure if Packet can forward by Core Switch 2.

Any suggestion or document I will apprieciate?

     Regards
