Wrong IOS,
That is most unfortunate, i think you have a claim to get exam money refunded,
I dont think that is fair, as you cant know which image is required without CCO
access AND CCO access is NOT a requirement of the lab.

I think you have a case, see if they will let you resit for free.

Worth a shot

Subject: Some frustration my attempt on yesterday 28- Feb

At least, a couple of things went wrong. I like to share my frustarion with
some of you without violating NDA, maybe it help you a little on what to
expect.

On a topic, there were two questions( 2 point and 3 point) and I had to skip
one 2 point question and I answered one 3 point question. So if I had failed
the lab, I expected I would see 60% or 0% of grade on that topic. I remember
this clearly because I was happy it was only 2 point question not the 3
point question that I had to skip.
And I failed the lab but I saw 50%, which is not possible in my elementary
school algebra. One of explanation in my mind is maybe a wrong script was
used to grade my lab. But I decided not to challenge cisco by spending $250
like I did on my previous attempt. Most likely I would be a loser if I
can't pass 80. I at least mention this on my feedback survey. Please let me
know if anyone have the similar case, then I like to mention cisco about
that officially.

The other frustration I had was that I had to ask Protoc to upgrade IOS on a
router not supporting IPv6 while I am doing a lab around noon when my brain
started dying on me. Also, I can't be the first person who used that
particular rack( low number of rack) configuring IPv6 exam that has been out
two months ago. It is possible that some people may be "ripped off" by poor
preparation of ccie lab. Who can even expect to have a wrong IOS on exam...

Regards

Jongsoo
