Hi guys,
Is there a way to do this?
---------------------
Vlan A (NetBios) -------> | |
| |
| 3550 - 1 | ----------- RTR-1
--> Dlsw --> RTR-2
Vlan B (SNA) --------> | | 802.1q
----------------------
RTR- 2 is also connected to a 3550 - 2 which also has 2 vlan's on it -
One that has a NetBios server on it that needs to be reached by NetBios PC's
Vlan - A
And, another which has an SNA host that needs to be reached by PC's on Vlan
-B.
The problem is that on RTR-1, I want to bridge traffic from only Vlan A and
Vlan B onto the Dlsw circuit - not all traffic
coming over the 802.1q trunk. Is there a way to configure this on RTR-1?
If so, how?
Another problem is the 3550-1 sends BPDU's to RTR-1 which shouldn't be
forwarded. Can I just filter these and other switch traffic such as VTP?
Thanks, Tim
