KC,

It looks from your debug that the neighbor R1 to R2 is unstable. If you can
get that fixed, and clear your ospfv3 process on R6, it should work.
Double-check your ospfv6 neighbor types across the frame link R1-R2. Triple
check your routable and link-local frame maps on this link. Perhaps try p-m
network type. Just some thoughts.

  Hi Bob amf Group,

  1) U can find the output of sh ip ospf data external adv-router 172.16.20.5
at the end of last email. I have read ready the document before and after
reread it, I still cannot understand why?

  The connection is
R6--atm(OSPFv6-area16)--R1--FR(OSPFv6-area0)--R2--RIPv6--R5. Pls note that
FEC0::BBBB:1 (FR int of R1) can be learnt from R1. FEC0::D3D3:0/120 can also
be learnt (this route is advertised by R1 via redistribute isis originated
from R3, R3 is also connected to R1 via FR).

Besides, FEC0::AAAA:0 and FEC0::DADA:0 (originated from R5 via
redistribution of RIPv6) can be found in routing table of R1, but not in R6.

How can I check whether 172.16.20.5 is reachable?

  2) I found that the ospfv6 neighbour between R1 and R2 (routerid is
172.16.20.5). Does anybody know why? Thanks,

in
some sense. Do you have matching network types? Do you have the required
  link-local maps?

Can you send the output of sh ip ospf data external adv-router 172.16.20.5
?
It might give a hint. The best link I know on this topic is this one:
