Narcis,
If the question states that the port has to go through the "listening and
learning" stage, I would eliminate the RSTP/MST option because 802.1w does
not have a listening state. The 802.1d disabled, blocking, and listening
states were replaced with a discarding state in 802.1w. I would go with
802.1d and tweaking the timers.
