You will have to change which vlans are available over each trunk. Example,
if vlan 2 if reachable down both trunks, one will be blocked to prevent a
loop etc.

But I could not figure out the problem I am facing. In the scenario I
configured, the MST region is connected to a PVST+ through a trunk.
CAT1------R7
The trunk carries two vlans, 73 and 74.
I need both subinterfaces on R7 being in forwarding state, but one of them
goes to blocking.
I tried to change the root from CAT1 to R7 but it does not help. Cat1
blocked interface fa0/7 (connected to R7)
