You don't need to have a remote desktop. Use this
suggestion (httptunnel) or some other method of
doing that. Then all you have to do is telnet to
your term server, or possibly to each device
connected to the term server.

Take a look at httptunnel (http://www.nocrew.org/software/httptunnel.html)
- this encapsulates IP in HTTP. I've never used it, but apparently its
pretty good.
