Commands requiring ipv6 link-local addresses

Hi guys,

While studying ipv6, I've noticed that some commands require the link-local
version of the ipv6 address to be used.

I'd like to compile a list of all commands that require this form of the ipv6
address.

For example, with ospfv3 over f/r you have to specify the neighbors with the
neighbor command using the link-local address and you (should or must) use the
link-local address in the frame map command.

What I'm interested in is what other ipv6 commands also require the link-local
address to be used. I plan on organizing this by category.

For example,

Static Routes

BGP

ISIS

RIP

OSPF

PBR

I also want to understand, as best as I can, when the choice of ipv6 address
type is optional and what the ramifications of the choice are.

So, any suggestions and contributions would be very welcomed.

TIA, Tim
