There was a heated and detailed discussion a few months back on this very
same topic between myself, Scott Morris, Bob Sinclair (I think) and some
others.
As usual, I don't remember all the details, but here's what I do remember.
If using Auto-rp, the MA must be on or behind the hub and ip pim nbma must
be configured on the hub.
ip pim nbma can optionally be conifgured on the spokes. Your mcast network
will work either way, however, be using nbma on the spokes, it's more
efficient.
check the GS archieves for the rest of the details.
