Subject: MQC Policing calculating Bc
I think the FRTS parameters is pretty self explanatory and beat to death
with mathmatical mubojumbo... How about calculating Bc for class based
policing... Say you needed to limit input traffic to Ethernet0/0 on R1 to
128Kbps what would the Bc value be and is the forumula the same as for
FRTS / Token bucket theory stuff if so what is Tc or does that apply ? in
all the theory books they typically talk about policing / shaping and the
token bucket theory stuff together so I would assume if you aren't given Tc
then assume the default ??
