2500 Software (C2500-IS-L), Version 12.2(15)T9
... you CAN run IPv6 and you CANNOT run ISIS , so for BB suits quite fine

Amit,
I upgraded my 2500's last week to IP Plus (T train)and found you can't run
IPv6 and ISIS , I had to choose Enterprise Plus (GD train), I expect there's
probably some features that arn't supported either , but haven't come across
them yet. If you can afford it get some 2600's !
Dave.

Subject: 2500 or 2600 for home lab?
Hey all
I am about to purchase my home lab for scheduled CCIE Lab. Please advise me
the drawbacks of using all 2500's in my home rack instead of 2600's. One
difference I noted is that the 2500's can run IP plus as highes feature set.
They dont come with Enterprise Plus, while 2600 can be configured with both
feature sets. Is their something extra that wont be there in IP plus for
2500 that i may require for CCIE.
Amit
