James,

If you want to use IRDP, pc's must be irdp aware. I tried vrrp/glbp on old routers(poor 2500 series), no go. Is it possible to define dhcp and set primary gateway and secondary gateway(defaul router)

thanks

VRRP should be supported on Cisco routers depending on the model and
IOS. I read about that on their CCO once.
What abt GLBP?

Hi Guys,

If a scenario asks for gateway redundency without hsrp, what are other
available option. Does VRRP is supported on the routers in the lab(it
is not working on my routers). Guys I dont think that DRP is another
available option because for DRP to work you should have DRP aware
clients.
Any feedback is appreciated.

thanks
