Re: Redistributing iBGP vs. eBGP Routes into EIGRP

I have EIGRP and BGP running in the same router. When
I redistribute from BGP into EIGRP, it appears that I
cannot successfully redistribute an iBGP route and
send it on to another EIGRP router. I am thinking that
this is because the iBGP route has an administrative
distance of 200, which is greater than 170, which is
what EIGRP would use as the external route's A.D.
However, if I pick up the same route through eBGP,
EIGRP will redistribute it, since eBGP's A.D. is 20,
which is less than 170. Does this make sense, or is
there another reason why I am not seeing the iBGP
route redistributed into EIGRP? If this is what is
happening, is there a way to force EIGRP to accept and
redistribute the iBGP-sourced route?
