Thanks,
So would this prefix list block 192.168.1.0 /24 , 192.168.0.0 /16 if
used to say limit a number of netblocks that are allowed in from a bgp
peering neighbor ? Say I have to use a prefix list for whatever reason ,
and I have the following networks in my bgp rib learned from a ebgp
neighbor:
192.168.1.0 /24
192.168.2.0 /24
192.168.3.0 /24
192.168.10.0 /24
192.168.11.0 /24
192.168.12.0 /24
192.168.0.0 /16
And you need to only permit 192.168.1.0 /24 , 192.168.2.0 /24 ,
192.168.10.0 /24 , 192.168.12.0 /24 , and 192.168.0.0 /16 ??? You need to do
this with the minimum number of commands with a prefix list ?? What would
you use ?? TIA

Effectively, the prefix-list covers the range from 192.168.0.0 -
192.168.127.255 while the acl covers from 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255 .
