Jellyboy,

You can just add the 64mb memory to get your 96 mb of memory if you wish.

The real question is what Cisco IOS do you plan on running on your new toy?

If you want to get into a lot of the advanced IOS features or running full BGP
(I assume you are just playing with it in a lab enviorment really.) then you
would need 128 mb or more of memory.

Your call but you can do the 96 mb of ram if you wish.

Have fun.

Subject: OT: 2611xm dram modules

Hi all, I am now the proud owner of a new 2611xm. I want to upgrade
the dram to 96MB. At the momemt there is 1x32MB module in the unit. To
upgrade to 96MB can I just get a 64MB module or do I have to purchase
2x64MB to reach (and somewhat extend) the memory I require?

Cheers,

jellyboy
