CSS11500 Content Switch - NO PING !

Quick Query - Has anybody setup a CSS11500 series content switch before ?

Does anybody know why I cant ping out from this CSS device ? I setup
default gateway and VLAN1 with standard IP's from my local subnet
range, but still cant PING my default gateway.I have a full ARP cache
and interface and circuit are up ... What am I missing ? Got to have
this ready by Friday !
