Secondary to secondary peering (when both secondaries are on SAME subnet) is no-brainer ;-)
What I'm trying to solve is secondary to primary (when primary on local peer and primary on remote peer are on SAME subnet).
In other words, peering across subnets without static routes and other stuff normally not allowed in the lab.

I guess I am missing something in this discussion.
I found no problems connecting peer using secondary addresses. The same
applies for iBGP and eBGP - for eBGP you just need to add ebgp-multihop 2 to
at least one side.
Here are my results for iBGP:
R2:
