I have two network engineer positions available in downtown Chicago.

I am the Sr. Network Engineer at Navigant Consulting (http://www.navigantconsulting.com), so these two positions would report to me.

NCI is a great company going through amazing growth. Solid benefits and pay, a very complex and challenging network infrastructure, good working environment, great IT people, etc.

Essentially I'm looking for people with 3-5 years of hands-on Cisco experience, paper-cert'ed people need not apply. There will be an extensive technical assessment performed, so don't waste my time or yours if you aren't solid technically. :)

A few more specifics:

- Experience supporting distributed and dynamic environments, 50+ sites
- 1-3 years of Cisco VoIP, including Unity, CCM, CME, MeetingPlace
- 1-3 years of Cisco wireless, including WLSE, Mobile IP
- All the basics, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, AAA, PIX, IDS, VPNs
- CCDP and/or CCNP required, desire to obtain a CCIE shows initiative
- College degree strongly preferred
- Any experience integrating with legacy PBXs a plus
- Some travel required, mainly domestic with some international possible (~20-40% travel)

I wouldn't mind a CCIE right off the bat, but this isn't the top-dog network engineer position. Some CCIEs have ego issues with that. If not, please feel free to apply.

FYI. We do perform VERY thorough background and reference checks.

Please contact me directly if you or anyone you know are interested in this position, I have two identical ones available. At that point I will engage our HR group to start the formal screening/interview process.

Thanks!
