Very ironic that you typed in about your problem... I'm also having a problem with a WIC-2T that I think also might be revision related.
Here's my problem. A customer is using a WIC-2T in a 2621XM router, using only the first serial port as a DTE with multiple point-to-point sub-interfaces. I'm not sure what the external CSU/DSU is, but he's unable to get CTS to come up on the circuit. He copies the config to the other serial interface and it works fine there, same cables and CSU/DSU. Sure, sounds like a bad serial port on the WIC-2T. But, when he swaps out the WIC-2T, same problem....changes the router, problem goes away. I know have the router and cards back and I'm unable to replicate the problem..... Card and router test fine for me. I'm just doing back to back HDLC, but all signals are up for me....using the interface as both DCE and DTE.. I'm wondering if I'm seeing a revision related problem also???

Is the clockrate on the lower connector the same as the clockrate on the
upper connector?
I know that some of the dual T1 cards are only able to provide clocking on
one of the two ports.

It's been a while since I wrote to groupstudy, so why not talk about
something I've noticed which was troubling me in the days I was cabling my
lab, and now I have some additional information that *might* help other
people....
The problem is with putting a DCE clock on the upper connector of a WIC-2T
interface. While putting a DCE clock on the lower connector (S0/0) works, it
is sometimes not possible to make it working on the upper (second) interface
(S0/1). The line protocol goes down after a few keepalives, and no pings can
pass regardless of the clocking rate put on the DCE side......
I solved this problem by cabling differently (no upper-to-upper connections
from WIC-2T to WIC-2T, but lower-to-upper connections with DCE on the lower
connector), or clocking DCE from a WIC-1T (which always seems to work).
Up until a few days ago, I was unable to find out what this would be
causing, was it a cisco platform problem or a WIC-2T problem.
I've done some tests with other revisions of the WIC-2T, and it appears that
this is a problem with certain revisions of the WIC-2T.
Unfortunately I only have HW revision 1.0, Board revision D0 in my home lab,
which seems to be having a problem with putting DCE on the upper connector.

However, trying with other versions, Revision A0 and C0 didn't experience
these clocking problems and worked perfectly..... In this case, older is
better ????
Maybe someone other has or will run across this issue, and this could help
them a little.
But I would still be interesting in hearing from others that have
experienced this problem, and be interested as well where they got the WIC's
from.......
