Technically Challenging Projects

To start a new thread I thought it would be good to consider what kind of
projects are worthy of the technical level of a CCIE. I know that in my mind,
building a national network would be very challenging, fun and a great mental
workout. Address design and allocation, equipment choices and such. In fact,
just due to cost factors it might be possible to build the initial
infrastructure in a developing nation using older equipment. Once there is a
functioning network it would then allow for some type of positive cash flow,
which in turn could then fund the initial upgrades.

In my mind this could actually help create a more robust economy and in turn
allow a better standard of living for the people of that nation.

What would you all consider similar projects that would be rewarding as well
as technically challenging?
