Hi guys,
In the 3550 Configuration Guide, in chapter 18, Understanding DHCP Features,
it says the following:
. A packet is received on an untrusted interface, and the source MAC address
and the DHCP client
hardware address do not match.
How does the switch know or find out the DHCP client hardward address in order
to make the comparison?
How could the source mac address not be the same as the dhcp client hardware
address? I thought they were the same thing.
Thanks alot, Tim
