3550 acl's

Hi guys,

The 3550 config guide (chapter 27) makes a distinction between port and router
acl's.

But, I don't see any difference between them except for what type of interface
they're applied to.

If an ip acl is applied to a L2 port, it's a port acl.

If an ip acl is applied to a L3 interaface, it's a router acl.

Is that the long and short of it or am I missing something?

Thanks, Tim
