Hi,
Is it means that what is needed is just configure all the subnet using
"network X.X.X.X/xx" in the dhcp pool configuration? Does the switch IOS
dhcp will identify the appropriate subnet to allocate base on the
"default-router" parameter and the requesting SVI ip address?
Thanks

Hi,
The switch will receive an DHCP request on the SVI of that VLAN, by looking
at the configured subnet on the SVI the switch knows which DHCP pool to
choose and will respond with a DHCP reply to the host. Be sure to exclude
your SVI addresses :-)
@Group: Please correct me if I'm wrong!
Regards,
Henk

Onderwerp: DHCP server on 3550 to allocate ip address for different VLANs
As we know, we can use 3550 as a DHCP server to allocate ip address, but
what about if there're several vlans on the switch, how should we configure
the switch to allocate different subnets for the according vlan?
