Hi Group,

I like to have some basic clarifications about dlsw+, I went through dlsw and got these summaries, but I would like to confirm these, any help is appreciated.

(1.)"dlsw i canreach" command is given on the server(resourse side) and hosts cannot send unnecssary traffic across dlsw cricuits to the server.(dlsw reachability cache of remote side routers where hosts are located is populated)
(2.)dlsw filters(eg:lsap-output-list) given on the client side to not to send unnessary traffic across dlsw to the server
(3.)if you use "dlsw i canreach netbios-exclusive" command no other info(mac or sap) is advertised to remote peers reachability cache
(4.)In a border peer environment, all peers of a border need promiscous keyword in the local peer statement because they need to have any to any peer relationship with any peers(even for other group peers)
(5.)When mac address is given for filtering, it must be always converted to noncanonical(we can ask the proctor) and mask is always ffff.ffff.ffff and not 0000.0000.0000)

thanks in advance for replies
