I suppose the other router where summary is not on, would leak more specific
routes, thus become a preferred path for those subnets.

Subject: OSPF

If area 1 has two ABRs, do both ABRs need the command "area range" when
creating a summary of area 1?

Any reading list recommendation about this problem? Doyle V1, Trobleshooting
IP Routing Protocol (Shamim) and Cisco OSPF Command and Configuration
Handbook (Parkhurst) does not cover it.

The only reference I found was on OSPF RFC2328: "Routers RT3 and RT4 must
also summarize Area 1's topology..." so I am considering that all ABRs on an
area should have the same summary for that area. Any Comments?

What could be expected if only one ABR has the summary? (I will lab it but I
am trying to discover what to expect from it)
