Hi,
Does anyone know if there is some relationship or
interaction between the isdn map command on a D
channel, and pots dial-peers?
Have situation where we use a isdn map command to
override numbering plan/type for a specific 800 # and
have isdn map address 18001234567 and so on under D
channel.
The pots dial peer is a simple peer , with a 1800T
match and it works for 800 calls except when someone
calls 18001234567 this peer is skipped over and it
goes out the pots peer used for LD which has a 1010
prefix so it don't work on that one.
When the isdn map command is removed from D channel,
the call uses right dial peer but is busy/doesn't
complete because this one # needs a different isdn
numbering plan/type to complete then the other calls
for some reason.
I have been trying to find some docs on a isdn map and
dial-peer interactions, relations but have not come up
with anything yet. Have a TAC case open to but not
getting anywhere.
BTW, this is on a 7206 with 12.3(8)T5
Thanks.
