I think we have been over that one -
basically pcs do a icmp redirect query looking for a default gateway on boot up
all the routers in the HSRP standby group shouldnt have 'ip redirect' as you dont want the
PCs going anywhere else (eg a standby router) for their Default Gateway.
Anywho PCs autmatically hunting for a default gateway kinda defeats the purpose of HSRP !
So in the lab if your asked about HSRP make sure you have 'no ip redirects' configured
... its wise to do this in your workplace as well !
